recently, the program of “real time remote monitoring system of wind power production and operation based on group management”, which was developed by zhong neng power-tech development co., ltd., affiliated to china longyuan power, has been presented with the award of “excellent informatization achievement in the 11th five-year plan of the electricity industry”, which was issued by the informatization promotion office of china electricity council. this achievement has laid a solid foundation for the popularization of the unattended mode of wind farms.
it can minimize the fault rate of wind turbines, extend the life of wind turbines and ensure the safety production of wind farms through the complete and reliable real time monitoring on the production and operation of wind farms; besides, it can greatly reduce the operation cost of wind farms through increasing the generation and the generation quality of wind farms. as the first large production monitoring and diagnostic system of china’s wind power industry, its technical research achievement has made a breakthrough in the wind sector of domestic china. it is china longyuan power’s core technology with independent intellectual propriety and has changed china’s situation of long-term suppression by foreign countries in the field of key technologies. meanwhile, it has greatly promoted the management innovation and standardization of china’s wind power industry.
this real time monitoring system was successfully launched in june 2008. it has been presented with the second prize of excellent achievement of the informatization construction and application in china guodian corporation’s 11th five-year plan. at present, it has been widely used in 61 wind farms in china longyuan power and china energy conservation and environmental protection group.
